We’re back with Dinked 148 – the debut album from Leeds-based electropop trio PEAKES. Having been poised for stardom at the beginning of 2020, Covid put a damper on what the band hoped would be a year of intense touring. However, the trio took this time to hone their sound, focusing on writing slow-burn songs and self-producing the whole thing. The result is an album of synthpop with immense depth and poise, recalling the best of New Order and Depeche Mode, as well as more recent bands like CHVRCHES and Sylvan Esso. Peripheral Figures is released on November 19th by Practise Music.
