Pumarosa – The Witch

This London quintet have been steadily building to this momentous debut album with a string of increasingly ambitious singles and a sterling live reputation. The good news is the album delivers with aplomb on every front, thrillingly borrowing from sources past and present to concoct a heady brew of shamanic cosmic grooves, post-punk bite and alt-pop sheen.

Carried by lead singer Isabel Munoz-Newsome’s incredible vocal performance and an ever-shifting musical backdrop that lurches from the ethereal to the grungey in dramatic fashion this is a frequently startling record!

Along the way they evoke a huge range of other artists including The Cocteau Twins, Blondie, The Knife, Little Dragon, Radiohead, Josefin Ohrn & the Revolution and many more! A feast for the ears
