Julia Holter – Have You In My Wilderness

L.A native Julia Holter presents her fourth album of majestic, sublime and complex chamber pop. This is Holter’s most immediate and bold album to date, her vocals are clear and centred where previously they were shrouded in a haze of effects and the result is pristine and sharply focused. Musically Holter has yet again crafted a deeply experimental set which has enough surface beauty to draw the listener in, while the multi-layered complexity of the oblique arrangements will keep you coming back to unravel their many secrets.

Holter shares space with contemporary artists like Julianna Barwick, Joanna Newsom and Dirty Projectors while also evoking the likes of Robert Wyatt, Nico and Linda Perhacs.
