It’s back! Tickets on sale from Friday. Exclusively from us, OX4 residents can get tickets for £15 (normal price £20 / plus £1 booking fee).

If you haven’t come across Irregular Folk nights at The Cellar yet, you are missing out. So far they’ve had Gravenhurst, Soledad Velez, Maia, Laura Moody, Barney Morse-Brown, and loads of interesting local acts. Sometimes the nights have a loose theme - cello, harp, sea shanties, or as is it next week, the ‘loop pedal’ - within the broad scope of folk.
Each night is always a special occasion, with The Cellar being transformed into a thing of beauty with DIY/craft-y decorations and more fairy lights than Christmas. We really like to see promoters doing something exciting and different whilst bringing great music Oxford. Head down on Sat 27th to see where folk and soundscapes, loops and harmony overlap, and keep an eye out for some VERY exciting developments coming up over the summer. Their facebook page is HERE, and tickets for the 27th can be bought HERE, or in person form us.
As much as we are about records we also love live music - you may have noticed from all the in-stores - so from now on we’re gonna try showcase some of the great promoters around Oxford. This is just the beginning…
